Found this place hanging out at the farmers market. Its at the end of the main street on a side street. Look for the blue paint and a parklet. My first visit was takeout but the food was good so I took my Mom for Her birthday for dining in this time. The service was excellent. The waitress gave some good suggestions on what they eat and dived in. Let me tell you they give big servings. The flavors top notch! It wasn't traditional mexican it was elevated a bit fusion but delicious and a good bargain. We ordered the tostada which was huge! The spicey potatoe, Phat Daddy Tots which was huge! A few tacos and the veggie burrito. All excellent and filling and flavourful. As a treat we ordered the churros. Which was a more traditional churro. Pillows instead of the typical long one. Highly recommended.

Taco Daddy in downtown Martinez is our absolute favorite spot. The food is consistently fantastic, and the service is top-notch. Brittany, the bartender, is an incredibly hard worker and remains attentive even when the place is bustling. We've visited numerous times and have never had a bad meal. The mushroom taco is a must-try--it's packed with flavor and absolutely delicious. You can't go wrong with any margarita on the menu, but our go-to is the Daddy Rita. Owner Ryan is always in a great mood and welcoming to all his guests, which adds to the wonderful atmosphere. The entire team is awesome, and we highly recommend this spot to anyone. We probably go at least once a week and never tire of it. We love having Taco Daddy in downtown Martinez. It's a great location, conveniently within walking distance to other businesses in the area. One suggestion: it would be great to see refried beans on the menu and smaller burrito options.

Happy Hour tacos $2.50. Two tacos were very filling. Shrimp tacos are spicy. Lots of shrimps in the taco. Puerco, carnitas taco was good too. Lots of toppings! Loved it! I will be back.
